Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Floriana, Malta, for a Financial Analyst. The role entails carrying out financial planning, analysing financial data, and preparing comprehensive reports. The Financial Analyst will work closely with internal teams to assess financial statements, assist in budget management, and develop tools for tracking performance metrics. Responsibilities also include supporting the development of financial models and providing insights to aid in decision-making.


Key Responsibilities

  1. • Financial Modelling: Build and maintain models to value companies and assess deals.
  2. • Valuation Analysis: Perform company and asset valuations to support M&A, fundraising, and strategic decisions.
  3. • Pitch Materials: Prepare pitch books, presentations, and client materials for transactions and new business development.
  4. • Due Diligence: Analyse financial statements, identify risks, and support the due diligence process during transactions.
  5. • Market Research: Conduct industry, market, and competitor analysis to inform investment decisions.

Requirements and Skills

  1. • Proficiency in Financial Planning and Finance.
  2. • Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
  3. • Experience in reviewing and preparing Financial Statements.
  4. • Understanding of Financial Reporting principles.
  5. • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  6. • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  7. • Proficiency in financial modelling and relevant software tools.
  8. • Prior experience in an investment-focused environment is a plus.
